Pecan Crusted Maple Bourbon Cheese Board!
Elevate your holiday snackin' with this sweet and savory cheeseball featuring Bourson Maple Bourbon Cheese!
Ingredients
Pecan Crusted Maple Bourbon Cheese
- 1 puck Boursin® Maple Bourbon Cheese
- 1/4 cup Pecan Pieces, chopped
- 1/4 cup Roasted Pumpkin Seeds
- 1 tbsp Granulated Sweetener, *I used erythritol for zero calories!
- Dash of Cinnamon
Cheeseboard Add-ons!
- 2 Apples, thinly sliced
- 2 Pears, thinly sliced
- 1 bunch Black Grapes
- Plenty of Green Olives
- Wedge of Brie
- Boursin® Garlic and Fine Herbs Cheese
- Cubed Sharp White Cheddar Cheese
- Honey Comb, or sugar-free honey alternative
- Assorted Nuts like Pistachios or Pecans
- Gluten-free Pita Chips
- Gluten-free Crackers
Instructions
- Make the Encrusted Boursin® Cheese puck: Remove the Boursin® Maple Bourbon Cheese from the foil and set aside. In a skillet, heat the pecan pieces, pumpkin seeds, sweetener, and dash of cinnamon over medium heat. Stir frequently to allow the sugar to caramelize on the nuts; about 3-4 minutes.
- Once the sugar is completely melted, move the nut mixture to a shallow dish. Very carefully roll the Boursin® cheese in the nut mixture to coat and return to refrigerator to set until ready to serve.
- Assemble your sweet and savory board with your cheese, Encrusted Boursin® Cheese puck, nuts, sliced fruits, and crackers.
